Dr. Peck grew up in Memphis and Arkansas and graduated from Memphis State University and the University of Tennessee College Of Dentistry. After dental school graduation he joined the US Army for additional training and served 21 years on active duty at stations in the US, Europe and the Pacific. He completed Residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. As a specialist, he held several teaching and leadership positions and was decorated with the Legion of Merit, three Meritorious Service Medals, and the Expert Field Medic Badge.
Upon retiring in 2004, he joined Drs. Albright and Smith in private practice. His practice includes all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with emphasis on wisdom teeth removal, anesthesia, implants, orthognathic surgery and facial/jaw trauma. He is a member of the Lebonheur Cleft Palate Team and on staff at Methodist University Hospital and Lebonheur Children’s Hospital.
He is the current President of the Memphis Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of the Tennessee Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
He is married to Deborah Peck of Marianna, Arkansas and has one daughter, Amanda. He is an avid aviator, deer hunter and below-average golfer.
Dr. Smith grew up in Memphis and attended Memphis State University. He graduated from University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1982 and Residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 1987. He has been in private practice since and has held a part-time teaching position in the UT Department of OMS since 1987. He was certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 1989.
His practice and teaching position focus on preprosthetic surgery, implant reconstruction, bone grafting and wisdom tooth surgery.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the Tennessee Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Albright is a Tennessee native. He was chairman of the oral surgery department at UT Memphis and has been a professor at the dental school since the 1970s. He continues to work part time in private practice and teach at the dental school. He has served in many teaching and leadership roles for more than three decades and is well respected for his many contributions to the specialty. He has been a major influence in the training of dozens of oral surgeons for the past thirty five years.
He is retired from the US Navy Reserves and is a member of the ADA, AAMOS and the TDA. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and was a Board Examiner for a five year term.
